Established in 2018, the Group’s purpose is to pursue the following objectives in respect of the area known as Culduthel Woods in Inverness:
a) Undertake research to ascertain the current ownership of the woods
b) Consult with people in the community and with public agencies over the options for management of the woods
c) Investigate options for community involvement in the management of the woods
d) Develop and facilitate plans for the management of the woods.
Membership of the Group is free and is open to all people of 16 years or older, resident within the Community (see map below or use this LINK), and who subscribe to the objectives of the Group.
